Australian born First Artist Birmingham Royal Ballet, Lachlan Monaghan shares his experience for general open class for males and females and Project B Boys Only! Masterclasses for Vocational level students

    Join us for open work masterclasses for male and female vocational students with Lachlan Monaghan, First Artist with The Birmingham Royal Ballet. These classes will focus on technique, music and artistry to enhance performance skills as well as helping to prepare for free work in examinations.

    Also includes special Boys only! Project B classes.
    Classes for Vocational students (Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 2) and Grades 3-5 available.

    Places are limited and will fill fast so please make sure to book early to ensure your place.

    About Lachlan Monaghan

    Lachlan Monaghan was born in Sydney and trained at The McDonald College.  After winning the McDonald’s Ballet Scholarship in 2009 he began his further training at The Royal Ballet School and in 2010 he won a bronze medal at the Adeline Genée Awards.

    His  repertory  at  the  Royal  Ballet  School  included:  Black  Knight  in CheckmatePaquita  pas  de  trois,  Parrish  Maynard’s Fractals,  Jirí Kylían’s Un ballo and John Neumeier’s Spring and Fall. Lachlan  joined  Birmingham  Royal  Ballet  in  2012  and  was  promoted  to  First  Artist  in  2016.
